1. Love of God

Matthew 22:37 “You shall love the Lord your God with your whole heart, with your whole soul, and with your mind.”

St. Augustine: “To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek Him is the greatest adventure; to find Him is the greatest human achievement.”

2. Love of Neighbor

Matthew 22:38 “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

St. Therese of Lisieux: “True Charity consists in bearing with all the defects of our neighbor. A word, a kindly smile, will often suffice to gladden a wounded and sorrowful heart.”

3. Will of God

John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. He who lives in me and I in him, will produce abundantly, for apart from me you can do nothing.”

St Padre Pio: “May the words to our Lord ‘Thy will be done’ be in your heart and in your lips in all difficulties of life.”

4. Forgiveness

Mark 11:25 “When you stand to pray, forgive anyone against whom you have a grievance so that your Heavenly Father may in turn forgive your faults.”

St. Faustina: “He who knows how to forgive prepares for himself many graces from God.”

5. Prayer

Matthew 6:6 “Whenever you pray, go to your room, close the door, and pray to your Father in private.”

St. Alphonsus Liguori: “Speak to God alone, as two close friends, conversing with Him as to everything that concerns you.”

6. Judging Others

Luke 6:37 “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn and you will not be condemned. Pardon, and you shall be pardoned.”

St. Teresa of Calcutta: “If you judge people, you have no time to love them.”

7. Humility

Luke 14:11 “For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

St. John Vianney: “Humility is to the various virtues what the chain is to the Rosary. Take away the chain and all the beads are scattered, remove Humility and the virtues vanish.”

8. Worry

Luke 12:25 “Which of you by worrying can add a moment to your lifespan?”

St. Theresa of Avila: “Let nothing disturb you; let nothing frighten you. All things pass away, he who has God lacks nothing.”

9. Trust in God

Matthew 7:24 “Anyone who hears my words and puts them into practice is like the wise man who built his house on rock.”

St. Frances of de Sales: “Do not think you will be able to succeed in your affairs by your own efforts, but only by the assistance of God.”

10. Hell

John 3:36 “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life. Whoever disobeys the Son will not see life but must endure the wrath of God.”
